Eddie Stobart Appleton Thorn Depot - 3rd December 2016

A short visit to Eddie Stobarts Appleton Thorn Depot on Saturday 3rd December 2016 shows sone of the trucks working in and out of the depot . Also for anyone who hasnt yet been here weekends are good as there are more trucks parked up and very often there can ve 2 or 3 of the European ones resting for the weekend. On this day there were a couple of the ESE Scanias and a Merc MSE16021 parked up around the back. Note at weekends the cafe closes at lunchtime but during the week you can feed an army of spotters for next to nothing and the food is good. This was an overcast day so not great for photos but if you like your trucks Lymm truckstop is 5 minutes up the road. Visits to Appleton during the week often provide more variety of visiting trucks from other depots making a fuel stop or calling in for a break.
