Kashmir Files: "You should be ashamed" says Israel Envoy after IFFI Jury chief called it "vulgar'

A diplomatic storm erupted after the Jury head at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) described the blockbuster film on Kashmiri Pandits- Kashmir Files- as "vulgar" and "Propaganda". The comments were made in the presence of Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur

Israel's Envoy to India said of Nadav Lapid, the chair of the Jury- "You should be ashamed." Distancing himself from the remarks, he invoked similar deniers of the holocaust. He also revealed that members of his team had been receiving threats and he was concerned about their safety as well as the impact of the comments on relations between the two nations.
