An International Perspective: Supporting Judges at a Global Scale

In this session, Mr. Scott Carlson, Associate Executive Director, Center of Global Programs at the American Bar Association (ABA), discusses the ABA's work supporting judges all over the world through the Center's Rule of Law Iniative (ROLI). In addition, Mr. Prateek Sibal, Programme Specialist of Digital Policies and Digital Transformation Section, Communication and Information Sector at UNESCO, joins the conference virtually to discuss the history and work of the UNESCO Global Judges Initiative, established in 2014, and its current Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), “Artificial Intelligence and the Rule of Law.” This session is moderated by Mr. Alain Norman, Senior Program Associate, Center for Scientific Responsibility and Justice at AAAS.
