Walking slightly left/right of Shadow Beast after the initial burrow has given me better results regarding ghost placement.

When stunning for the first time, I use Weapon Skill before the Extra Skill so that I stun very soon after the lunge. If the delay between the lunge and stunning is too high, you will not be able to cancel the ghost before the 2nd chain, which adds more rng to the run.

Below are the chain timings I aim for
Shapira 2.1 (ASAP on chain 2 and 3)
PD 1.2
Lapice 1.6 + Weapon Skill
Valencia 1.4

If Shadow beast immediately lunges after the 2nd chain you used one chain too late. If your weapon skill gets cancelled by the lunge then you were either slow with using weapon skill after Lapice chain or used Valencia chain early. If you already notice that either of these happened, you can kite Shadow beast again just like at the start to make sure you stun again before the next burrow.
