Two Stage Pressure Reducing Station - Commissioning Procedure

This video shows the commissioning and calibration of the BERMAD 720 pressure reducing control valve installed in-line with a Bermad 720-PD constant ratio pressure reducing valve. Both valves are shown installed in a pressure reducing station equipped with pressure gauges, upstream and downstream isolation valves and an in-line strainer.
Use this configuration to enable the sharing of the load of a high differential pressure reduction between two valves. The primary pressure reduction of the station is achieved by a constant ratio Proportional Diaphragm valve. The secondary reduction by a pilot operated reducing valve to accurately reduce the pressure to the exact requirement.
This dual reduction system offers higher reliability and safety, longer service intervals and a quieter operation.
