From Việt Nam to OKC, community recordings for digital preservation

A project from Vietnamese Boat People in partnership with Possibilities Inc. to capture recordings of Vietnamese-American diasporic stories from the Vietnamese-American community of Oklahoma City. Recordings will be uploaded online as an ‘OKC Collection’ on the VBP Journeys Map, accompanied by a narrative on the history and contributions of the Viet-American community in the city. Each recording will have transcripts, photos/artifacts, historical dates, and locations of the individuals’ journey.
