Five festivals on three continents present the best programmes of the 360° fulldome scene. The Berlin audience can enjoy the immersive highlights in the Zeiss-Groβplanetarium and experience the award ceremony live. In addition, there will be interesting information and news about the future of the fulldome medium. The spectrum of topics of the nominated programmes ranges from astronomy and science to artistic works and student media experiments. The eagerly awaited award ceremony will open the evening, and will be broadcast live throughout the world from the Zeiss-Groβplanetarium in Berlin.

As in 2021, the fulldome world is looking to Berlin when it is announced on 2 May which productions will win the coveted »Best of Earth« awards! Only fulldome programmes that have been shown at at least one of these international festivals in the past two years are nominated: Dome Fest West (USA), SAT (Canada), Fulldome UK (Great Britain), Jena FullDome Festival (Germany) and Dome Under Festival (Australia).
