Michael Gaine, a beloved 56-year-old sheep and cattle farmer from Carrig East near Kenmare, County Kerry, vanished without a trace on March 20, 2025. Known for his love of farming, animals, and motorsports, Michael’s sudden disappearance has left his family and community devastated. His car, phone, and wallet were found at his farm—but he was gone.

Despite one of the largest missing person searches in Kerry’s history, no sign of him has been found. On April 30, Gardaí officially reclassified the case as a homicide, believing Michael died at the hands of another person.

His heartbroken wife, Janice, and sister, Noreen, are begging for answers. “We just want Michael to come home,” Janice said in a tearful plea. Someone out there knows the truth—please come forward.
