"It's better for us to feed Jiro on our own so that Jiro can have the sense of who is the owner and who is not. So, we refrain from using this feeding facility too often. Of course, we do not want Jiro thinks that "iSeePet" is the owner not us."

"I think we have a webcamera device which has the internet connectivity function in it self. So, if the users attach the device at home and connected it to the internet, user can watch how their pet is doing at anytime anywhere if they have internet connectable PC. And, also this "iSeePet" has the feeding function, so the user can feed their pet from remote anywhere if they have internet connectivity."

STORYLINE:

Jiro, a three year old miniature Schnauzer, can now on be fed even when his owner leaves him home-alone.

When the music plays, Jiro runs to "iSeePet" to be fed remotely by his owner controlling the machine via internet.

The Japanese IT company, AlphaOmega Soft, Inc., developed the remote pet feeder last year.

For any pet owners in this era of globalism, the long trip away from home can mean a headache.

While on a business trip or attending an overseas conference business-professionals do not want to be worrying about their pets.

"iSeePet" could be the answer.

The device can be controlled from anywhere regardless of how far away the owner is as long as there is an internet connection.

The owner can observe his pet with the 130 degree CCD camera attached to the "iSeePet"for 24 hours and control the feeding.

The machine stores up to two days worth of food and drinking water.

"iSeePet" was launched last November at a price of 118,000 Japanese Yen (US$ 990)

The company is aiming for the US and European markets in June this year.

The price is to be set at under 850 US dollars.
