Selected drive. For example, Disk 6 has got only 1 partition.

NOTE: If you got more than 1 partition and you want to recover files from one specific partition, then you should select that partition here instead of scanning the whole disk!

Select a file type that's not checked (X) & then press the forward arrow to check it.

WARNING: Don't select a folder inside the drive/device that you're trying to recover deleted files! For example, don't select this USB flash drive.

IMPORTANT: By default, Photorec download folder is selected, which is a very LONG path! It's better to select a root directory to shorten the file path.

WARNING: Don't use the drive that you're scanning while scanning.

Recovered files are saved in these 2 folders

NOTE: Not all files are "properly" recovered. Particularly videos taken by iPhone! Even though, the size of the video files matches the original files.

iPhone video formats (.mov) makes it very difficult to recover deleted format.
