Use widgets on your Galaxy home screen to get to your favorite apps faster! To add a widget, pinch in on the home screen, and then tap Widgets. From here, you’ll see a list of your apps that have widget options. Tap an app to see a list of its widgets, and then tap the widget you want to add. To edit or remove any widget, touch and hold it until you see a pop-up menu beneath it. To remove it, simply tap Remove. To edit it, you can touch and drag the borders to make it smaller or larger, or you can drag the widget to another area on the screen. You can also drag it to another screen if you’d like.
Your lock screen can also display widgets for even faster access. Navigate to Settings, tap Lock screen, and then tap the Widgets image. You can toggle the available options on and off to fit your usage needs. You can also reorder them. To arrange them your way, just tap Reorder, and then click and drag each one where you want it. When you’re finished, just tap the back arrow.
