Nothing like spending a beautiful afternoon at the park with the fam. We wanted to take Addy out to enjoy the weather & fresh air... This was at Hellyer County Park around San Jose, CA. We walked around the lake once and then let her play at the nearby playground area. Certainly, she enjoyed her time here at the park. Until next time, stay safe out there! *A bit about Hellyer County Park: The park is one of the 28 county parks in Santa Clara County. The park is in San Jose, CA, just off of Highway 101. The Hellyer Park Velodrome & Cottonwood Lake are situated in the 178-acre park. Picnicking, swimming, hiking, bicycling & a playground are leisure activities provided in the area. It’s a small yet spectacular park & has a clear, lined route used by bikers & pedestrians. You can see many butterflies & alligator lizards to many species of birds. It also has many diverse animals, turtles & other species & it's amazing. Of course, the main attraction & view is the scenic lake (Cottonwood Lake) which is home to many types of birds & ducks… It’s certainly a great place to come for some fresh air after being indoors way too much this past year due to the pandemic…
