I went to Westminster Abbey and took the Caledonian Sleeper First Class, Club Car to Scotland | Solo

Traveling alone can be a great way to explore and do things on your own time! I woke up and decided that I would take a trip to Westminster Abbey then walk around central London by Parliament and the Thames.

The Abbey is absolutely breathtaking! Plus, it was really cool to see the memorials for so many historical and literary genius people. It really felt like walking through the halls of Hogwarts in a Harry Potter movie.

Later that night, I went to London Euston Station to take the overnight train, The Caledonian Sleeper, to Glasgow, Scotland. I just so happen to win a bid to upgrade from having a Classic Room (which does not have a bathroom) to getting a Club Room--so First Class experience for me! The Club Room is very similar to a Classic Room, except that breakfast is included and an ensuite is in your cabin--where you can take a hot shower! Kinda amazing to be able to take a shower on a moving train!
