The UK is devoid of the large carnivores that once roamed here, creating an unbalanced ecosystem. Discussions about rewilding by bringing back predators are bound to be controversial, with strong supporters for both sides of the argument. The Eurasian lynx is one candidate that is being considered for a return to Britain, but why is it being considered and what support is there for its return?
