There's not much to say about a quality vise besides it works and it doesn't break. Surprisingly the el cheapo Harder Fake 5in vise that we've been using for the past 10 years because it was given to us has served us well, even though it's cast. The owner asked for it back recently, so I decided it was time to buy something bigger since that was the only issue with the HF vise, it was often too small in jaw capacity, jaw depth, and width.
