Picked up one of these at a flea market cheap. Figured I would see if it could be useful in any hobby exposure levels etc. as a home dosimeter or to calibrate other meters... As it turns out, it is designed for larger exposure ranges such as radiation worker hot zones, or "national security" use-cases. The system has BT and NFC, but it appears to use them in combination with an app, I could not get the device to sync with any open source applications, most likely it uses Out Of Band authentication for the BT pairing.

In general - not useful for a hobbyist, even someone like an x-ray tech etc. would not get useful readings.
