Hey guys! The instrumental for this week is for my original song Floating, which I released last year. It ended up kind of being the forgotten song of that year... I'm not entirely sure why. I was experimenting with genres, trying a sort of funk-pop approach, and I think it turned out pretty well. A much more chill vibe compared to some of my other stuff.


It's interesting reflecting on the lyrics now. I won't say the procrastinating issues have gone completely, but since then I've gotten a lot of insight into why they happen, and have taken steps to address them... sometimes I worry it's not actually helping at all, but this has been a good reminder of how things used to be. I've definitely improved since then. Starting anything used to be a struggle, no matter how much I wanted to do it. It's much easier now.


In other news, I have finished a new original! I've even got the lyric video ready to go. So, next week, I'll post a preview, and it will be officially released the following week. So stay tuned! I'm pretty happy with how this one turned out. It's even a little bit spooky...
