The real story: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_...

March 4th, 2002 - with four SEALs trapped on Takur Ghar, a QRF of Rangers is deployed to the mountain in a bid to rescue AFO Neptune from the scores of Taliban and al-Qaeda fighters closing in around them. Downed by enemy fire from RPGs and DSHK machine guns, the Rangers dismount their grounded Chinook and enter the fight of their lives. The Battle of Takur Ghar begins.

And here we are, the final campaign mission of Medal of Honor, and probably my favorite mission in the game I must say. A heavily fictionalized account of the Battle of Takur Ghar. I'm surprised a movie hasn't been made about what happened on that mountain, but for now Medal of Honor will have to suffice. All I can say is that I highly recommend reading what actually happened in this fight. There were some serious heroics on display at Takur Ghar from all involved.

Another playthrough in the books - two in just three months, definitely a far cry from the eight or nine years between Call of Duty 2 and Battlefront II! Definitely planning on keeping it up, exciting news for all zero of my regular viewers (honestly who the hell is even reading these descriptions). Should have my next playthrough decided soon. For now, stay frosty my friends.
