One thing that saints opposed to the hilt is casteism. All of them have hit at its roots and have tried their best to stop it. Kabir Sahib too has hit at it at every opportunity. He has explained in detail how each of us are born "Shudras" or the low caste. He cites many examples of great munis who were born to non-brahmin parents. He also cites discussions between King Yudhishthir and Vaishyapan Rishi where the former asks him which attributes make a person a Brahmin (i.e. the highest caste Hindu)? So anyone with qualities he describes can be a Brahmin or he can be a Shudra if he has -irrespective of their parentage.
