Hello! I am Heidi Burghardt and I serve on the Open Captioning (OC) Movie Committee. This is the second OC vlog for the year 2023.

We have GREAT news! Our OC Team has been working very hard to get the bill through in Annapolis and I'm so proud to say that it was finally introduced on January 25, 2023 - House Bill HB264.

The HB 264 Bill will be heard before the Economic Matters Committee in the House on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. Our OC Committee is asking you to support the HB264 Bill.
