#1. Real-Time Circulating Tumor Cell Detection Without Radiation Exposure

The FuOptic system enables real-time detection of circulating tumor cells within blood vessels using photoacoustic microscopy technology.

Unlike X-ray or magnetic resonance–based diagnostics, the system operates without radiation exposure and is suitable for continuous monitoring.

#2. Multispectral Photoacoustic Imaging for Cellular-Level Cancer Analysis

Multispectral photoacoustic imaging allows precise analysis of tumor cells at the cellular level, which is not achievable with conventional tomographic systems.

The technology extracts tumor cell features directly from blood vessels without the need for contrast agents or post-sampling component analysis.

#3. High-Speed Tunable Laser Platform Optimized for Intravascular Imaging

The wavelength-tunable pulsed laser operates at a repetition rate of 20 kHz to 50 kHz with a wavelength range of 740 nm to 840 nm.

With a pulse width of ≤50 ns and fiber-coupled output power of 30 mW to 60 mW, the system supports stable, high-speed multispectral imaging.

#4. Compact and Waterproof Scanner Enabling Real-Time Clinical Integration

The compact scanner design allows fabrication in small form factors, enabling integration into a wide range of medical imaging systems.

Waterproof operation ensures efficient ultrasound signal transmission and supports high-speed scanning for real-time imaging applications.

#5. High Signal-to-Noise Functional and Structural Cancer Imaging

Photoacoustic signal detection benefits from significantly reduced scattering compared to optical methods, enabling high signal-to-noise ratio imaging.

The system simultaneously provides functional and structural information, supporting accurate visualization of microvascular and lymph node structures.
