Last year saw the launch of Endangered's annual VA series Worlds Within Thee, a 5-track various artists EP featuring fresh producers from all around the globe. To close out 2020, the second edition continues the tradition with another fantastic collection of dark & melodic beats. Endangered label curator Brian Cid shares his thoughts on Worlds Within Thee II:

'Our annual label VA has become a very special release to us. It gives us the opportunity to push our sound further with some high musical talent, this time from Zürich, India, Puerto Rico, Montréal and Brooklyn. As always I made sure each piece fell into our sonic universe and encompasses the vibrational energy intended, in this case, a deep obscure driving music force that moves forward and upwards. It is a pleasure to welcome you and present Worlds Within Thee VA II.'

Hailing from Zurich, Normen Hood opens this chapter with 'The Untold Story' - a fitting title to begin with. Tension & anticipation are created with an extended breakdown in the middle, and the tone is set for the EP with a track that seamlessly fits with the melodic techno sound of the label. Dharmalogy & Strange Mind from India follow with 'Consonance', a progressive track with a heavy groove, tribal percussion, and subtle background melodies. The mid-point of the EP is reached with 'Light Figures' by Puerto Rican artist Samot Bidot. The energy rises here with arpeggiated synth work and lush layers of instrumentation. Manuel Nunez from Montreal is next up with 'Unknown Door', a deep, dark, and driving track that means business. To conclude this story, Brian Cid provides the hypnotic 'Sol De Rosas'. Dark, yet extremely melodic, with its flowing synths, trippy production effects & powerful drops.
