You're a soldier/scientist that's gone into the mysterious and dangerous quarantine zone, only to lose your entire team to the mutated creatures and harsh alien environment. As you make your way towards the epicenter, you encounter a strange young... thing.

Inspired by Jeff VanderMeer's Southern Reach trilogy and the subsequent film adaptation of Annihilation made by Alex Garland
