2. *Repair or update Microsoft .NET Framework components.* Microsoft .NET Framework is a set of software libraries that are used by many applications. To repair or update Microsoft .NET Framework, download the latest version from the Microsoft website and run the installer.
3. *Delete the APPMODEL registry subkey.* The APPMODEL registry subkey is used to store information about applications that use the App Virtualization service. If this subkey is corrupt, it can cause installation errors. To delete the subkey, open the Registry Editor and navigate to the following key:
