Body Types Don't Work! How to REALLY Find Your Body Type? |

Why mainstream body types don't work? Are they really all gimmick? Unfortunately, the hourglass, pear, apples and other weird types of bodies shouldn't be used! They are generalizing bodies too much and don't give any real value!

In this video I explain that popular body type systems don't account body architecture, proportions, scales, contrasts and lines. These are essential things to consider when defining someone's body! Plus, these types don't mention face features and don't give much recommendations on clothes, fabrics, patterns and etc! This is why I don't use these systems as a personal stylist.

Instead, I'm using geometrical body type system that was introduced by Dwyn Larson! She took clean, 4 body types: Gamine, Romantic, Natural and Dramatic and mixed them together. As a result she got 32(!!!) beauty body types! And her system covers everything from picking correct clothes to fabrics! It's a unique system that I practice. If you want to define your body with this system you will need a stylist. Because it requires a good eye and lots of practice.
