Part 2 of 2: Commitment to F1 in my opinion seems to be similar to being in the military. The scrutiny, uniform, physical and mental tolls are enormous. I’ve got just as much respect for the drivers who get out as I do for the ones who chose to stay in. That said, Lewis Hamilton’s stamina for the pressure of the sport has been staggeringly good. And this is why I think Fred Vassuer might just be backing him for an 8th Championship.
