Die Kradschützen waren zu beginn des Krieges eine schnelle Eingreiftruppe. Mit den 80 Km/h schnellen Gespannen waren schnell , besonders beim Angriff gegen Russland, die hinter den Kampflinien liegenden Versorgungspunkte und Brücken angegriffen worden.
