On November 29, 1986, Jack Paar, the host of The Tonight Show from 1957 to 1962, had an NBC Special after The Museum of Broadcasting (now the Paley Center) found some missing kinescopes containing some rare footage of Mr. Paar's classic programs. Some of the guests featured are John and Robert F. Kennedy, Richard M. Nixon, Judy Garland, Richard Burton, Robert Goulet, Barry Goldwater and Billy Graham, Bill Cosby, Liza Minelli, and The Beatles, which was their first taped appearance on American television.
