This is our Skinny Bikini Tuck 4.5-year follow up of a beautiful model who lost her waistline after her pregnancy. With pregnancy the abdominal muscles and the fascia stretch out and separate. After delivery, the muscles can get stronger with exercise and recover but the fascia will almost never return to the same state as pre-pregnancy. The remaining separation is called "DIASTASIS RECTI." Sometimes when the separation is severe, even doing exercises such as sit-ups can actually make it worse.
This situation can be quite frustrating when trying to return to modeling post-pregnancy.

In her case, our incision was placed LOWER than her c-section scar. We dissected all the way up to the rib cage and tightened the rectus muscles all the way down to the pubic bone. Then we performed Microlipo of her waistline to bring back that hour glass shape. There were no incisions made in the belly button. The best part is that we made her hypertrophic c-section scar vanish!
She now can model in her SKINNY BIKINI without reservation.
