The Lyriq’s appeal begins with an almost suspiciously strong mix of range, charging, power and pricing figures. But after driving it a couple weeks you realize the numbers are just half the story. The Lyriq is smooth and responsive around town, comfortable and controlled on the highway, and has a stylish, roomy, feature-filled interior. Oh, and it can all but drive itself with the excellent Super Cruise system.

The Lyriq compares with the Mercedes EQE SUV, Audi A8 e-tron, and the BMW iX, to some degree, but none comes close to offering 300 miles of range for less than $60,000, and none outranks the Cadillac on our list of best electric luxury SUVs.
