In this video we visit Light Square, one of the five public squares situated in the Adelaide CBD. Light Square is on the north west quarter and is dedicated to Colonel William Light; a British surveyor-general who was the founded in Adelaide with the square created in 1837 around the time Adelaide was founded.

Crossing through Light Square is Currie Street which is the main east-west bus corridor in the Adelaide CBD; mainly served by east-west bus routes, north-east routes (including those utilising the O'Bahn Busway), and routes serving the Adelaide Hills.

Buses seen include Scania L94UB's (including some 14.5m units used in the Adelaide Hills), Scania K230UB's, Scania K320UB's & K320HB (hybrid's) with a mix of Custom Coaches, Bustech, and Volgren bodies. However these modern buses pale in comparison to the other buses we see... MAN SL200's!

On this day the Bus Preservation Association South Australia hosted their 40 Years of the MAN SL200 tour, with five preserved buses taking part in the tour. We see this buses arrive and depart Light Square at the start and end of the tour. The MAN SL200's are among my favourite buses and the last time I rode on one was in 2015 in Melbourne. When this tour was announced I just couldn't say no!
