One of the unique and exciting features of Ops is this modal filter module, which the developer Jonathan MacKenzie describes as "a resonant filter which simulates a mechanical mass-spring-damper system. Good for generating pitched resonant modes of instruments, especially percussion, when fed a trigger signal."

In this demo, I'm using screen capture software which does not show my gestures. Just quickly demoing the audio. I have also load up Ops in AUM and I have it running through a bit of compression and reverb. I'm using random trigger modules to change the pitch. Midway through I show how easy it is to duplicate existing structures and vary them. I put an LFO on the tempo of the new structure's trigger to create a maddeningly out-of-sync counter-rhythm.
