Kala chana Chaat | Black Chana Chaat

Ingredients

-Boiled black chana - 2 cups
-Boiled potato - 1 med chopped


For Masala paste
-Cumin powder - 1 tsp
-Coriander powder - 1 tsp
-Chilli powder - 1 tsp
-Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
-Salt
-Amchur - 1 tsp
-Water - 2 tbsp

To fry chana
-Oil - 2 tbsp
-Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
-Hing - 1/4th tsp
-Grated ginger - 1 tsp

To add to chana
Onion 1 small chopped
-Tomato - 1 small chopped
-Green chillies - 2 chopped
-Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
-Mint leaves - 1 tbsp
-Black salt
-Lemon - 1

Method

-Take a bowl and add all ingredients as mentioned above “ for masala paste” and mix well and keep aside.
-Heat pan, add oil, once hot add cumin seeds, hing and grated ginger and sauté few seconds. Add the boiled chana and fry for a few minutes till masala coates the chana. Add the boiled potato and toss for a few mins and allow to cool.
-Add the ingredients as mentioned above” to add to chana and mix well.
