Top Fuel Dragsters came to Mildura's Sunset Strip in country Victoria on March 12-13 for Round 2 of the Burson Auto Parts Australian Top Fuel Championship.
And they packed the house!
Local favorite Phil Lamattina had the job of upholding the pride of Mildura against Shane Olive, Phil Read, Peter Xibberas, Wayne Newby and Damien Harris.
It was the first time that Top Fuel had run over the 1/8th mile in Australia, leaving the crew chiefs with the task of coming to grips with a track none of the teams had any data on.
