A real Taash-Harding (“Haash”? Probably not “Taarding”) heavy episode. You know, in case anybody else thinks they’re super cute together. “You let them figure it out.” Nobody got time for that. The world’s ending, I gotta live vicariously through someone. “That a joke, Porter?” It honestly started as one.

Rook joins Taash and the Lords of Fortune at the Hilt for a lil “Dragon School”; Rook is taking notes, but Cutter is the one getting SCHOOLED.

Bright red and blue scales? You dummy. You absolute clod. You buffoon. That’s clearly a Kettlecorn and NOT a Hibiscus. Now take your impeccable fashion and your cape and get OUTTA HERE. Nobody said rush.

And thanks, Dragon Age: The Veilguard. You have an impulsive hot head character who didn’t blow up when someone implied they’re scared.
“I heard adaari are descended from dragons, but it must really be CHICKENS!”
The fuck, man? Taash does this for a living. We fought a dragon before breakfast, (I’m told I did okay) if they’re scared of something, you should be terrified.

But now that that ding-dong is gone, why were you fighting a Garmordan Stormrider in the middle of a typhoon? On purpose? “Best time to catch ‘em.” Why were you trying to CATCH it? What the fuck is going on around here?!

After Taash takes us to the bar, we venture into the Deep Roads with Harding. You’d think we’d have thought to flip those on the way. “I venture BETTER when I’ve had a few.”

Harding proves she has game by shooting a compliment soundly over Taash’s head. (Talk about “hoop dreams”, amirite?) You think people are giving others compliments on their pronunciation a lot?
“Well this is awkward.” God damn it.

New friend Stalgard leads us on a tour of Kal-Sharok, and then to: The Oracle. (“It’s only a model.” “Shh!”)
Spoiler alert, but she’s about as forthcoming as any other Oracle you’ve seen in fiction.

“By teaching you to ask questions, you’re learning to question the answers.” And etc.

I coulda looked inside myself for the answers at home on the couch, I’m just saying. This meeting could have been a missive.
