SPY SHOTS: 2025 Kia EV4 Sheds some camo at the Nurburgring

Kia is moving to the next testing phase with the EV4 sedan and hatchback, this time for the performance and handling tests on the Nürburgring. The EV4 Hatchback has been spotted by our photographers with less camouflage, revealing the recessed door handles.

Last month, we got the first glimpse at the upcoming Kia EV4, with prototypes spotted testing on public roads. The upcoming compact EV will be offered both as a sedan and hatchback, sharing the E-GMP architecture with the EV6 crossover. The hatchback variant has been a surprising appearance, considering that Kia's family photo only previewed the EV4 as a sedan.

The hatchback is specifically tailored for the European market, where sedans have fallen out of favor. It will also be built in the heart of Europe, at the Kia factory in Slovakia. Rumors indicate that the EV4 should start production sometime next year, with deliveries debuting shortly after that. While the EV4 sedan might make it stateside, it hasn't been decided yet.
