This video was created as part of an assignment for our PR and Social Media class. Our assignment was to create a campaign about a social issue we feel strongly about. As a result, we selected voting.

We knew so many people within our age group (18-24) do not vote and feel like they do not have the enough knowledge and sensitivity to vote. By sharing this video, we wanted to make a difference and encourage our peers to vote in the upcoming presidential elections on Tuesday, November 8th 2016.

According to an on-campus survey that we conducted, the most common reasons why people would not vote is because of a lot of political apathy, not knowing enough about politics or the candidates, having other things to do, not having the time to vote, thinking that their vote will not make a difference and not trusting the voting process. We as a group want to prove these people wrong and start a movement by sharing this video. Remember, it is YOUR future and YOUR VOTES will make a difference for yourself and for the generations to come!
