How To Hit The Perfect Flat Tennis Forehand In 3 Simple Steps.
Being able to hit a flat forehand in tennis can be a real weapon for tennis players, especially if you're competing against someone who gives you a lot of sitters, balls that bounce and stay in your strike zone for longer than normal.
In this video, Top Tennis Training coach Simon will show you how to hit the perfect flat tennis forehand in three simple steps.

Step One
Finding the right ball to attack and flatten out. Being able to hit the forehand flat and aggressive requires a ball that sits up higher than the net level at the time of contact. If you try to flatten out a ball that is lower than the net level, you will have to lift that shot and that will result in the quality of the stroke being reduced. When the ball is lower than the net level, it's better to drive upwards on the ball to produce aggressive topspin. The balls that sit up above the net level are the right type of balls to attack and really flatten out, these balls will allow you to hit through the shot much more and not require you to lift the ball so much.
