The SL Muslim Society of Canada (Since 2016) and the Tamil community are joining hands with our broader community partners in support of the Sri Lanka Flood Disaster Relief Appeal. This is a critical moment for us to unite and show the solidarity of Sri Lankan Muslims as we stand with our brothers and sisters back home during this crisis.

Sri Lanka has endured:

-Four days of intense cyclone conditions and torrential rainfall

-Thousands of families displaced from their homes

-Major damage to hospitals and essential infrastructure, disrupting critical supply chains

-A heightened risk of disease outbreaks and food shortages

To help respond to these urgent needs, we have launched a GoFundMe campaign to support relief operations on the ground.

100% of all funds raised will be transferred directly to the official account of the Deputy Secretary to the Treasury of the Government of Sri Lanka.

We are committed to full transparency and accountability. Every dollar you contribute will go directly toward assisting the affected people who are in urgent need.
