To kick off the year, here is a short, improvised performance created from scratch using the Torso Electronics S-4 Sculpting Sampler. This "no-talking" session features a handful of samples from Splice, transformed in real-time. No post-processing or annotations—just the raw output of the S-4.

The Torso S-4 is a specialized tool for sonic exploration, featuring four parallel tracks of stereo processing. Each track offers a versatile chain of audio engines, including granular synthesis, time-warping, and spectral effects, all modulated by a flexible internal system. Its tactile interface allows for deep manipulation of samples, turning simple audio clips into complex, evolving textures and rhythmic patterns.
