In this video I'll be melting down old scrap aluminum sprues and foil and melting them into a custom aluminum ingot and coins. After casting the metal, I'll etch the bar with hydrochloric acid. Etching aluminum with acid is a very easy etching process and a fast way to etch but make sure you use gloves and a respirator as the acid is toxic and can burn you.
