This Was Almost A Panic Attack | Watching This Show From The Rooftop | Disneys Brand NEW Drone Show!

We went to the opening night of Disney's new drone show at Disney Springs and it almost ended horribly. It started out great with a bus ride from Shades of Green over to the bus stop at Disney Springs. From there we wanted to find something for dinner but when we found out the wait for Splitsville was almost 2 hours we decided to grab a quick dinner at the 4 Rivers Cantina food truck in stead. It was a quick and delicious meal so we jumped over to the M&M store to grab a treat for Story. After that we had to decide where the best place to watch the show might be. We landed on the rooftop of the Orange parking garage on the west side. It was a GREAT location to watch the show. It wasn't crowded at all and we had a fantastic view of the drones in the sky being up so high on the 5th level of the garage. Once the show was over things got a little intense, pretty quickly. As we made our way down to the main level the crowds became overwhelming and we found ourselves stuck in a large mass of people with no way out. We weren't moving or getting anywhere. Tim was having an increasingly hard time staying calm and afterwards he told us he felt the most helpless he has ever felt in his life in those 10 minutes we were navigating our way through the herd of people. It might not feel that bad for the average person but for someone who struggles with traumatic disabilities this was an incredibly frightening and vulnerable situation. Fortunately we made it back to the room and he was able to regulate his stress level. Overall, we LOVED the show and would like to see it again but we will have to come up with a better plan next time before we attempt a busy night at Disney Springs. HUGE thank you to the Shades of Green bus drivers for being extremely punctual getting us there AND picking us up despite the unusually high traffic! It was quite a night!
