As title implies, this doll does indeed talk, but due to many decades of age, and at the mercy of child's play the record is not in good condition, and of course no longer can be replaced. The doll is closing in on 60 yrs of age. That said, she says first part of her phrases, but skips during the last section of the phrase as heard here in the video. Due to this she is being cleared out with reduced pricing. She is of course very clean and sanitary having gone through a thorough cleaning regime. She has her original apron and bib, which often is missing in many of these dolls. So if you would like a memorabilia doll she is great for that. Her eyeglasses are there too, but they are not the originals, rather, replacements but look good.
