The beautiful Red Fox is one of the most common type of foxes, being widely distributed across North America, Europe and Asia. It thrives in the forests of Eastern Canada where this footage was filmed exclusively.

The footage shows a red fox hunting in the snow in the most southern part of the province of Quebec in Canada. It shows the healthy mammal bearing think orange rusty colored fur diving in snow in attempt of catching mice among other preys like birds. The well adapted animal does't fear winter and appears to evolve well in what some consider frigid arctic-like weather. In a ''spur of the moment'' display of opportunistic hunting, the fox catches a prey at mark 2:53 before killing it and eating it whole.

Footage was filmed in the wild in 4K Ultra High Definition in Montreal, Quebec, Canada during the month of December last year.
