Here we have a very beautiful version of The Vajrasattva Mantra also known as The 100 Syllable Mantra sung by Lama Dorje. The key objective of practicing this mantra is to remove all obstacles obscuring one’s perception of the true nature of mind, to cleanse all unwholesomeness from all levels of being. It is regarded as having the ability to purify karma, bring peace, and cause enlightened activity in general.

Nature of the mind
Imagine your mind is like an open blue sky through which clouds come and go, but the sky remains untouched. The sky is inherently blue and clear, and although its blueness and clarity can be obscured it can never be destroyed. The clouds represent intense emotions such as hatred resentment, greed, and delusion that pollute the mind. Because of the transient nature of these mental states, they cannot be said to be an inherent part of the mind. They may obscure the mind’s inherent awareness and compassion, but those qualities are never absent.
Vajrasattva (Tib. Dorje Sempa) is a bodhisattva in the Vajrayana and Mahayana Buddhist traditions. Bodhisattva Vajrasattva’s name translates to ”Thunderbolt Mind” or ”Diamond Mind.”
He is the sovereign lord of all the mandalas of the Diamond Vehicle. To meditate on Bodhisattva Vajrasattva is the same as to meditate upon all the Buddhas.
The Vajrasattva purification and healing meditation is widely practiced in all Tibetan Buddhist traditions. In general it’s practice involves visualization and mantra, coupled with clear intent and care filled inquiry. Vajrasattva is usually depicted as a white Buddha figure, seated in meditation, holding a bell and dorje. The bell symbolizes wisdom. The dorje symbolizes skillful means or compassion.
Vajra means unshakable, firm, indestructible and sattva means living being, or becoming. In essence, Vajrasattva is the immeasurable expanse of inter-being. A central facet of the classical form of this meditation involves visualizing a flow of crystal clear nectar washing though one’s body, speech, mind and community loosening, dissolving and clearing away all defilement's. Biologically speaking, the mind, body and brain that we are can be likened to multi-dimensional braided river, a living tapestry of flowing transformation. We are composed of an inconceivable number of flows of different ‘nectar's’: water, earth, gasses, energies, foods (rupa), thought and memory (these are cognitive flowings), talents and understandings, that are pouring through, revealing and demonstrating our utterly inter-dependent wholeness, this present ‘body of experience’ which involves everything. The experience of multi-leveled fluidity, rather than a rigid or static state, shows the activity of purifying. All these flowings are modes of connection for all phenomena, things and processes, (dharmas). This body-mind is a real community in action. Gradually the practitioner begins to experience his or her body, speech and mind to be the display of Vajrasattva, (dharmadhatu), the total expanse of all events and meanings.
