Russell's Birthday
Mama and Papa arrange a surprise birthday party for Russell. Russell is sad because he thinks everyone has forgotten him. Then everyone comes out of hiding and all sing happy birthday to Russell. He is delighted: He loves surprises. Mama trips on Russell’s skateboard and falls destroying the cake and Russell is sad. But Granny Croc invites him to her tea garden for cake and lemonade. They all go to Granny Croc’s tea garden and enjoy a wonderful birthday party.

Bright Sparks
Granny tells Chuck and Russell to play while she gets them some snacks but warns them to be careful with their ball. Chuck kicks the ball too hard for Russell to stop, and it smashes the light bulb. They decide to change the bulb and Russell stands on Chuck’s shoulders and Lorenzo sits on Russell’s head. But they haven’t switched the power off and they all get shocked. Luckily Papa comes along and switches it off. Papa and Granny explain the dangers of electricity to them. All ends well.

Time for a Picnic
The family is going on a picnic. As they leave Mama realizes they’ve left Tessa behind. They fetch her and set up the picnic at the edge of the forest. Papa and Russell fly a kite as the ants invade the hamper. Tessa eats and spits them out. Russell falls with his face in the food and all laugh as Tessa spits an ant into his face. It starts raining and they go home to eat their food on the balcony. Mama and Papa pretend they’ve left her in the forest and Russell panics. They laugh because she’s sleeping in her bed. Russell is relieved.
