Shakespeare Network Educational Programme - The live BBC Radio 3 performance of Oscar Wilde's The Ballad of Reading Gaol was broadcast on October 9, 1994, from the Lyric Theatre in Hammersmith. This special event was held as a benefit for the charity Stonewall and was directed by Neil Bartlett, the Lyric Theatre's artistic director at the time BBC.
