Hold on to your hats, folks, because it looks like Hollywood is at it again! In case you missed it, Saturday Night Live recently made a joke about Meghan Markle, and it's causing quite a stir. Comedian Michael Che had the Duchess of Sussex dressed up as a maid behind him while he joked about her being paid "$19 an hour" to attend the Coronation. While some viewers found it hilarious, not everyone is laughing. One Twitter user called out Che for making a "sexist cheap shot remark" about Meghan. Ouch.
But SNL isn't the only show taking jabs at the Sussexes. The popular animated series South Park recently aired an episode that mocked Harry and Meghan's "global privacy tour," showing them on TV and shouting into megaphones. The couple's representatives called the segment "boring and unsubstantiated," but it seems like the damage was already done.
It's no secret that Harry and Meghan have been in the spotlight a lot lately, what with their Netflix docuseries and Harry's upcoming memoir. But it seems like all this attention has made them fair game for comedians and satirists. Love 'em or hate 'em, the Sussexes can't seem to stay out of the headlines.
