Watch a full tutorial as a 2019 Subaru Ascent will have a brand new pair of Alpine 6x9" Component Speakers installed in the factory location. We will install the mid-bass driver in the front door, and tweeter in the dash location for better audio quality over factory.

This video applies to Subaru Ascent models for years 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and newer models. This video also includes door trim and speaker removal, wiring, and installation.

IF YOU HAVE HARMAN KARDON / ROCKFORD FOSGATE AUDIO SYSTEM:
--In some instances the factory speaker may be less than 4 ohms. Installing a 4 ohm speaker can result in a less sensitive output appearing to be quieter. We recommend pulling your factory speaker and measuring the impedance on the speaker to match that ohm load with a new aftermarket speaker. This ensures the factory amplifier will remain compatible with the new speaker.
