Why I ride alone

The last ride I did with anyone, besides the Triumph Immersion event, was 11 months ago. Recently my only riding has been commuting, so that's understandable solo riding. But other than commuting, most of my riding has been mountain rides, alone. Why? Isn't it risky to ride somewhere with little to no cellphone signal, where you can fall off the edge of a cliff and no one would know where to find you? Yes. But to me, this is why I think it is worth it.
